I was entrusted with the task of crafting a website for a not-for-profit Community Cinema, entirely operated by volunteers in Essex. Armed with a detailed list of desired functionalities provided by the client, I understood the importance of creating a platform that could be easily updated by individuals with no prior knowledge of web design.

To kickstart the project, I began by conceptualizing several aesthetic design layouts for the website. Once a design direction was chosen by the client, I proceeded to build the website using a customizable theme within WordPress. This choice enabled volunteers to effortlessly add and update information on a daily basis, without requiring any intervention from individuals with coding expertise like myself.

The client's satisfaction with the final outcome was immensely gratifying. As a token of appreciation, I was honored with an invitation to the opening night of the cinema. Witnessing the community's enthusiasm and seeing the positive impact of our collaboration was truly rewarding. Over the years, the cinema has garnered several awards, solidifying its importance within the local Billericay Community. Contributing to this project was not only fulfilling but also a privilege to support the vibrant community spirit.
