I was tasked with designing and building a website for a not-for-profit Community Cinema run entirely by volunteers in Essex.

I was given a detailed list of functions the client wanted the site to fulfil. I knew they needed a site that people within no knowledge of web design could update with ease.

I started by creating several purely aesthetic design layouts for the website. Once a route was chosen by the client I built the website using a customisable theme within WordPress.This has allowed volunteers to easily add and update information daily, with no need for intervention from people like myself who can write, read or manipulate code.

The client was very happy with the end result and I was invited to the opening night of the cinema. They have won several awards over the years and it was a great project to work on and it was good to help the local Billericay Community.
